The game handle usually has a set of buttons operated by the right thumb and a direction controller operated by the left hand. The direction controller of the game handle has traditionally been a four-way digital crossover (also known as a handle, or a d-pad, and never known as an arrow key), but most modern controllers additionally (or as a substitute) function with one or more analog rockers.
